Commencement 2009
Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in Assembly Hall. The spring Grad Fair, during which students may order caps and gowns and graduation announcements, will be held in February, 2009; invitations will be mailed over the holidays. Complete graduation packets will be sent to candidates in March.
The 2009 schedules will be posted on this website in early winter. In the meantime, candidates and their families may wish to look at the 2008 information. There are several links below. Although the times, dates and locations change from year to year, the events rarely do, Graduation Weekend always includes Baccalaureate on Friday afternoon, the main ceremonies on Saturday, and school recogntion events before and after.
Travelers who have not yet made hotel reservations should act quickly. Many lodgings accept reservations up to a year in advance and may already be full on Commencement Weekend. Time is of the essence. See Visit Bloomington for more information.
